I had a special reason for enjoying this book. I traveled with the Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. Circus about twenty years ago as a member of the band before they dropped live music. Although that Circus traveled via trucks instead of trains it was still a gritty, dirty experience. The author captures that world well. She certainly did her research! What’s funny is that Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. Circus had a woman with a horse team in the show and many elephants.

I like the story that she weaves into that world and the characters. Well done. Just a word of caution for parental concern, the book does contain plenty of sexual references and harsh language.

This vacuum has plenty of suction power, is not very heavy and is reasonably quiet. My biggest complaint with this vacuum is the accessories will fall from their housing occasionally because they are not very secure. Also the power cord is housed very awkward. Other than that the filtration system works great and the vacuum performs as good as if not better than much higher priced vacuums a few of which I have owned before. It offers plenty of hose and connections to reach most places. I switched back to a bag vacuum because my bag-less vacuum was irritating my allergies every time I had to empty it.

Great product, although the time in seconds it takes the device to link to the satellites could be improved.

Looked for a long time for anything that would get my husband on his feet and moving that was not called exercise. He has PPS and even walking is painful. He can stand as long as he can then sit in a chair and play all of the games in the Wii sports package and be moving more than he has in some time and have fun doing it.

i only read thsi book because of the hype and man did it fall short. i mean , edward practically stalks this girl (watching her while she sleeps, creepily staring at her while she’s walking to her car, not letting her do anything that could “endanger” her, etc.). and whats bad i that bella likes it! girl, hes a freaky vampire that could easily kill you and stalks you constantly! its the most sexist book in a long time. and the characters are completely unrelateable, the romance is pure infatuation and is unhealthy for edward and bella, the book is completely poorly written, and the plotline is just a series of idiotic events! if you want real literature, avoid this book at all costs!

Given the thicker cable, I thought the Doberman 5028 would act as a better crime deterrent. However, I had used the lock for just three months when my bike was stolen. It was only locked up for 3 hours in a well lit area at a college campus. Cable locks, for all their convenience, clearly don’t do their job.

OnGuard also has a tendency to make the top portion of their keys huge, taking up space on your key ring.

I am twenty-two years old. Probably not the oldest reader of this series, but I had to put my two cents in for this book and the others that follow.

I am up to ‘Lost Colony’ and having read the four books preceeding it, I have to recommend Artemis Fowl to anyone even slightly interested in the teen-fantasy genre.

I read the first novel when I was sixteen or seventeen and loved it. It’s a creative joyride, with some humorous and epic encounters, and the pages never stopped turning until I came to the last line. The story involves a literal boy-genius, twelve year old Irish lad Artemis Fowl, as he uncovers a secret underground society of fairies and the like. He eventually comes face-to-face with the hero of the tale (Artemis can be seen as an anti-hero of sorts), a young female fairy named Holly Short, an employee of the LEPrecon (get it?) police division.

Personally, I chuckle at things like LEPrecon. It’s funny and it becomes obvious Colfer is a great(er) writer as you move from page to page.

Personally, I find Artemis Fowl to be a much more enjoyable read than Harry Potter. I barely got into the first of the series and it was almost painstaking to do so. Artemis Fowl reeled me in and, obviously, I’m hooked. Looking forward to the ‘Time Paradox’ in July. You should too.
