As a reading teacher, I was so excited to receive the Kindle for Mother’s Day. My husband was excited because he was under the impression it had a light, so no more sleeping wih a book light or end table lamp. The Kandle light was $20.00 , the covers are outrageous-$34.00 and up.
When I showed my middel and high school students, they were like,” Well, what does it do?” I couldn’t find a book at their reading level with the audio feature. So basically, nothing! Half of the books published do not come in Kindle version. So, I bought books to read for next years curriculm. Tons of the books do not have the audio feature.If you upgrade your not far from the I-pad price. I found it to be a disappointment- it definitely is not for reading teachers!

When I picked up Water for Elephants, I wasn’t quite sure of the topic and was afraid I might have to put this book down – low and behold, it was a great book – very entertaining, the pages just kept turning and I finished the book wanting more! As a recently returned to college student I have a ton of articles to read and printing was becoming a tad on the expensive side and reading on my computer screen was slowly and painfully ruining my eyes so I decided to buy a e-book reader. Before I bought it I did some research on e-book readers available and I decided the kindle 2 was for me. I was looking for something to put my articles on so that I could read them whenever i got a few mins to myself but I also wanted to be able to have some books on it so I wouldn’t become a complete bore!!
Firstly I have to say the delivery was super fast. Living in Ireland I was expecting a min. wait of 2 weeks but my kindle arrived in perfect condition at my door in a number of days.
Secondly the kindle is so easy to use. And anything you can’t figure out is just a click away in the manual which comes installed on the kindle. It is very easy to buy a book from the kindle store and I had great fun exploring all the features. I think the best was lying out in my garden sunbathing (on a rare sunny day) and having the kindle read my book to me!! Also being able to increase the size of the font, change the number of words on a line and the screen rotation (horizontal or vertical) was fabulous. And if you do get a kindle you must take it out on a sunny day and marvel at being able to read the screen with little to no glare!!!Also the ink technology is amazing it is just like reading a book only without the danger of paper cuts!!!And being able to make little notes and highlight stuff in books is brilliant as well.
But and there is a but. I bought this kindle to combine work and pleasure and the pleasure side is fabulous but I think there is more they could do for the work side. As I said I bought this kindle to read pdf articles. Transferring the pdf files from my computer to the kindle is uncomplicated and very easy. And accessing the articles is the same as for books. This digital scale is really perfect. It is really easy to use. You can even weigh yourself in the dark and still see the results because of the light around the pounds shown. It is also very light to pick up. It was also reasonably priced.

I’ll admit that I fell in love with the movie first. But I also have to admit that, (as always) you get more information from reading the actual book than watching a movie.
The only reason why I got this book to begin with was because EVERYONE said that this book was phenomenal & to a point, it is.
This book is perfect for a preteen to a young adult. It deals with young forbidden first love and so on.
But if you’re looking for a supernatural romance for adults, might I suggest Charlaine Harris ‘Sookie Stackhouse series’.
Other than that, this book was alright. It has a different look on vampires, not your typical creepy, only come out at night vamps, nope, they come out in the day. And when in the sun, they glitter.
I know, I was tripping when I seen the movie, a glittering vampire? But hey, Robert makes one hell of a hot vamp.
But anyways, like I said, this book would make a great gift for the young girls.

This a great looking scale but, unfortunately, the one I received was very inaccurate. It shows that my weight fluctuates 1.5-2 lbs within an hour. I understand that your weight does fluctuate throughout the day, but it shouldn’t change this much in such a short time frame. My weight was always different everyday and I hadn’t done anything differently in my diet or exercise. I ended up returning this to Amazon and will look for a different one.

My sweetie got me a Kindle 2 for Christmas and I never put it down, I am obsessed. I have read 53 books since Christmas no wonder I am sleep deprived!
Pk of 12 Faith
The Twilight Saga (all 4 books) are the best books I ever read. I have never had books keep me attention so fully. I ended up reading the whole series in a matter of 3 weeks. I read every chance I got. I would highly recommend these books to any female.
