The reviews here are spot on and have some useful set up tips. Note that this is not a true steamer – you add hot water, but the machine does not actually heat the water. But for the type of cleaner in its class, it’s been fabulous. Really pulls back up the water, which speeds up the drying time. Was a bit intimidated when all the pieces/parts tumbled out of the box, but set up was pretty painless and quick. I’ve been giving this a work out with 2 accident prone aging pets. You’ll be shocked how much grime this sucks up out of your carpets. Agree with the other reviews about wishing that the tanks had larger capacity. And the tanks have various crevices that make it a bit difficult to fully drain and dry after use. But don’t let that deter you from purchasing.

As an auntie of a niece that is just growing way too fast (and I also work closely with high schoolers), I read the entire Twilight series to see what all the hoopla was about. For the most part, it is innocent (except for Book 4, “Breaking the Dawn”–do NOT let your teenager read that one!). Although, I do not condone feeding into the whole “vampires are real…let’s feel sorry for them” mantra, I think the average teenager will NOT pick up or focus on the deeper social, spiritual, and psychological themes (which I feel are unhealthy, once grasped) throughtout the books. As I was reading, I could see most tween- and teenage girls 1) being able to relate to Bella’s feeling disconnected from her “world” and 2) being strongly drawn to the undeniably romantic and tangible relationship between Edward & Bella. Girls will be girls; even I am a sucker for a good “star-crossed lovers” tale! Meyer does this very well; the hundreds of pages in each of her books seem to fly by because the character & plot development is so natural. So, for the most part, the saga is harmless.
*Parents, Educators, Aunties, etc: for the more “sensitive” tween & teenage girls, I would recommend having a talk about: making the clear distinction between reality and fiction (vampires), discussing healthy perspectives on boys (rejection: Edward rejects Bella), inner beauty & self-esteem (Bella finds her worth in Edward), discussing rebellion (the vampires have only 1 rule that they live by), keeping secrets (Bella hides everything from her father to “protect” him), the lifelong effects of choices (it’s Bella’s choice to become a vampire), stressing it’s okay to be different but setting clear boundaries on acting on those differences (Bella would DIE to be a vampire), and about sex & intimacy (Bella & Edward don’t have sex until marriage only because it’s not physically possible–so we think)——all before they even pick up the book. Time to eat
Grrreat toy for reluctant fetchers! My boxer mix ignores most Kong items and needs some encouragement to “act like a dog”, but he LOVES this one. Fairly durable even with multiple big dogs. The squeaker is not even annoying. Highly recommend.

The Gift of Simplicity
Pros:
1 Ease in attaching (took less than a minute).
2 Great stability (tried with acute turns / sudden breaks / long curve ramps) – not a single complaint / issue. Also, tried with only two legs / supports only on the dash board (and the other two `slightly’ above the dashboard) – Excellent.
3 Going to buy second one for the second vehicle.
Cons (If I have to write one):
1 Can have power supply slot for easier connection (Do we really need one?)
2 (Not sure if compatible with other brands than Garmin)

I bought this card that we would have more capacity for taking digital pictures while on vacation. You get virtually the full amoung as available storage; as hoped. The upload and download speeds are okay but the the fastest that I have seen. I dont know it it is a hardware or software issue that keeps it from going faster but still an okay card for the money.

I have 2 black lab mixes. One is longer haired as her mother is a long hair german shepherd. I couldn’t believe the amount of undercoat that came off of her. It works well on my other dog also but she doesn’t shed as much as the “furrier” one. So my dogs are cooler and I have less hair in my house!! I used it again about a month later and got about as much hair as I did the first time. I highly recommend it.

I have a Wii Fit Plus and wanted the same for my older brother. Since he did not have the console yet, I had to find it first. I knew he would never buy one for himself, but he has loved it! His birthday is Feb. 15 and it took almost a month to find it in stock and at the right price.

FURminator arrived on time and was what I expected. I had looked at them before but Amazon offered best price. I have a Yellow Lab that weighs in at about 75 pounds, is a lovely dog at 13 years and sheds a LOT! First pass with FURminator removed a considerable amount of loose and long fur. Follow the instructions and do this outside where the ‘tons’ of fur are not a problem for cleanup or if the wind carries them off. My dog looked much better and the fur removal was even and looked nice. It did not bother the dog at all although he is very friendly and likes just about any attention acted like this was a treat! I would recommend this product to others and am satisfied with its performance after a few uses. I would have given it 5 stars if I had used it for a few months… that will have to wait, although I cannot imagine why it would not stay in the 4 to 5 range…

Great fun for the family, not meant for a hard core multiplayer online fanatic like my self. The extended family has forced me to buy batteries at costco but it’s well worth it! I love this system when it comes to family entertainment and also brings out the competitiveness in even the most subtle people. Love the system, hate the available online issues, but you know what? This is about getting the family together and enjoying each others company. Want to bring the family together? Fork over the $200 and enjoy!
